Why commit?
Direct mail compounds — most advertisers see real ROI by issue 3, not issue 1. The commitment discount makes sure you give it the runway to work.
Locked categories
One business per trade per issue. Once your category is claimed, it's closed until your commitment ends.
First refusal at renewal
When your commitment is up, you get first call on staying in your spot before we open it to a competitor.
The Mailer

A 9×12 postcard people keep.

Heavy stock. Glossy front. Matte back. Designed in-house so every spot looks intentional, not cluttered. Your business gets one clean panel — not a tiny square in a coupon mailer.

  • Professionally designed — we lay out your spot for you
  • QR code on every listing so we can prove the calls back
  • Locked categories: only one plumber, one realtor, one bakery
  • Mailed via USPS Every Door Direct, addressed to "Resident"

Custom QR Codes

QR codes designed in your brand, tracked in our dashboard.

Skip the ugly black square. Every advertiser gets a custom QR — color-matched to your brand, with your logo dropped in the center. Then we route it through a tracker so you see exactly how many scans your spot pulled, when, and roughly where from.

  • Color-matched to your logo and trade dress
  • Your mark or icon embedded in the center
  • Real-time scan counts, dates, and rough geography
  • Editable destination — change your landing page or offer anytime, even after cards have shipped
  • A one-page scan report after every issue

01

Claim your trade

Lock your category before a competitor does. One plumber. One bakery. One realtor.

02

We design your spot

Send your logo and an offer. We lay out a panel that looks like the rest of the card — clean, not chaotic.

03

Print & mail

10,000 cards print and drop into USPS the last week of every month. You get a finished proof to keep.

04

Track the QR

Your QR code routes through us so you see scans, dates, and rough geography — not just "did the phone ring?"

The play

Own the local mailbox.

One business per trade. Same spot, every month. Show up in 10,000 kitchens enough times and you stop being "an option" — you become the choice. That's the whole game.

01 / Exclusivity

One trade. One spot.

Only one plumber, one realtor, one bakery per issue. When your category is yours, it's actually yours — your competitors physically can't be on the same card.

02 / Repetition

Same face, every month.

Marketing research says it takes 7+ touches before a name sticks. A 6-issue commit puts you on the fridge for half a year — by month 3, households know exactly who you are.

03 / Becoming the default

Be the first call.

When their sink leaks at 9pm, they don't Google. They open the drawer. Own the mailbox long enough and you're not "a" plumber — you're the plumber.

Why direct mail, why now

A Facebook ad disappears. A postcard sits on the counter for three weeks.

90%

of direct mail gets opened. Email sits at ~20%, and most paid social never gets a click. Source: USPS Household Diary Study.

17 days

average time a postcard stays in a household before it's tossed. Your QR is in the kitchen for half a month.

Local-only

Every card mails to a verified High Country route. No wasted impressions in Charlotte or out-of-state renters.

Word from the route
"We got more booked jobs from one issue of the Hustle than we did from three months of boosted posts."

FAQ

Common questions.

Can I just try one issue before I commit? +

You can — single-issue pricing is right there ($595 regular / $895 premium). But direct mail compounds: most advertisers don't see strong ROI until issue 2 or 3, when households start recognizing your brand. That's why we discount 3-issue and 6-issue commitments by 10–15%. If you upgrade to a commitment within 30 days of your trial, we'll credit the difference toward your next issue.

What if my competitor calls before I do? +

Categories are first-come, first-served and locked once paid. If you're renewing, you get right of first refusal at every renewal — your spot is never opened up to a competitor without giving you a chance to keep it.

Do I have to design my own spot? +

No. Send your logo, an offer, and (if you have one) a photo. We design the panel and send a proof for approval. Premium tier includes a full concierge if you don't even have decent photos yet.

How is the QR tracked? +

Your QR routes through a tracked short link before forwarding to your destination (your site, a coupon page, a phone tap-to-call). You see scan counts, day-of-week, and rough region. We send you a one-page report after each issue.

Where exactly does it mail? +

10,000 residential addresses across Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Foscoe, and Valle Crucis. We pick USPS routes that skew toward owner-occupied homes and try to minimize apartment complexes and student housing — but with Every Door Direct Mail we can't guarantee zero overlap with rentals.

When's the deadline for the next issue? +

Creative is locked the 15th of each month. Cards drop into USPS the last week. If you reserve before the 10th, we'll have a proof to you within 48 hours.

Ready to be the only [your trade]
on 10,000 fridges?

Tell me your business and your category. If your trade is still open for the next issue, I'll send a mockup within 48 hours.
